INFORMATION ON HOUSE CALLS & INSURANCE
Prior to requesting a medical house call visit, we advise you to check with your insurance if visits are covered in your plan. We recommend users to speak with their Insurance Agents who can help find them the right plan. You can note that several PPO insurance plans have a billing code for Medical house calls, referred as CPT Code. House calls are often considered as “out of network” services by most insurance except from Medicare if the Doctor is a Medicare Provider. It is the user’s responsibility to check with his/her health insurance carrier regarding their eligibility and reimbursement rate. We recommend that after each visit you ask the Provider for a “super-bill” to submit to your insurance Company for reimbursement evaluation.
